Figure 10. Molecular profile of a mathematical model of a reservoir fluid oil generated on the basis of, and employing, the eleven precepts set forth above, compared with an actual, unaltered, reservoir fluid. Calculation commences with the allocation of 30 mol percent of methane, then uses the modal values of C1/C2, SF(C2-P5), SF(C3-nC5), P5/P6, P6 and SF(P15-P25). P30+ is calculated on the basis of the concentration of P29 thus obtained, and the slope value SF(P15-P25). All members of the concentration series from P29 to P100 are calculated, then summed, to yield P30+. Results are normalized to 100%.
